Keeping the fleet healthy and operating is your job.  But how can you know that you will have the right amount of manpower and repair parts available when you need them.  Without accurate requirements forecasts, you can't.  If you have long lead-times for spare parts or for facilities preparation, having an inaccurate forecast can cost you a fortune.

The team at Reliable Forecasts are specialists in providing accurate forecasts for all the resources you will need to keep your maintenance program running smoothly.  We understand how to integrate all maintenance drivers, including:
·         Multiple fixed operating life-limits (e.g. fixed maintenance intervals based on operating hours, cycles, time-at-temperature, etc.).
·         Probabilistic (unscheduled) maintenance drivers based on any Probability Density Function (PDF), including non-parametric PDFs.
·         Calculated ages.  That is, equipment "age" that is based on calculations using other age-tracking methods.  For example, the "Low Cycle Fatigue" (LCF) age of a part might be a calculation based on the Major Cycles and Minor Cycles on that part.
·         Deterioration effects modeled by ordinary equations or by differential equations.

We also understand how to model complex equipment configurations, as well as complex maintenance hierarchies.  We can apply all the maintenance drivers discussed above at the assembly level, the subsystem level, and at the component level.  There is no fixed limit on the number of child indenture levels for the Bill of Materials, or for the maintenance structure.

We can also model opportunistic maintenance policies, including “what-if” analyses for optimizing fleet-wide cost and availability.

We can provide not only the most likely estimates of demand (broken-out by maintenance-level) but also the expected ranges of demand.  This latter part is critical to planning a robust repair chain but is often overlooked in traditional forecasting and planning.
